#LunchGlobally with Groundbreaking Iranian Writers, this Wednesday @ 1 pm ET

Posted on May 09, 2021

May 12th at 1 pm, meet writer/translators Habibe Jafarian and Salar Abdoh!

Ever wonder what life in Iran is really like? There are still a few spaces left for a livestream with Iranian writers and translators (of each other's work!) Habibe Jafarian and Salar Abdoh: this Wednesday, May 12th, at 1 pm.

We'll be talking about Habibe's remarkable essay "How to Be a Woman in Tehran," translated by Salar, in which she writes about why she chooses to remain in Iran despite the challenges.

If you're new to #LunchGlobally, it's a free, interactive live-stream where we talk about new ways to bring exciting global voices to students. 100% of all attendees would recommend #LG to a colleague, and this will be our last meet-up this year.
